This one-of-a-kind course prepares participants to manage severe crisis situations in challenging parts of the world. You will be presented with online content covering a variety of information. Upon completing your online theory portion of the course, participants will have the opportunity to travel to a pre-determined international destination to put in play these new skills. The online modules include:

  • Practical Emergency Foreign Language

  • Area Familiarization & Blending

  • International Travel Savvy

  • Regional Security Studies

  • Threat/Risk/Vulnerability Assessments

  • Kidnap & Ransom Case Management

  • Protective Planning & Route Mapping

  • Detecting Hostile Surveillance & Contingencies

  • Emergency Evacuation Operations

  • Unlawful Detention

  • Remote Medical Considerations

  • Regional Customs & Blending

After completing the online modules, an optional training trip will be available to successful graduates. Participants will travel to one of our target areas; Beirut, Port-au-Prince, Sarajevo, Bogota, Manila, Erbil, and other destinations, to be run through a series of complex scenarios using the knowledge gained during the online module. The on-the-ground training will last for approximately 7 days and participants will likely not be able to distinguish between these training scenarios and real world.

What happens on the ground?

After the theory portion of the course, students will travel to an overseas location to be immersed into a complex crisis situation that your team will be expected to manage including; Protective Planning, Kidnap & Ransom case management, Setting up a safe-house, Sourcing local security & transportation personnel, and Evacuation planning & execution.
